With nearly 20 years’ experience as an IT Project Manager primarily in the construction sector, Matt now focuses entirely on helping clients achieve their property purchasing goals.
With more than five years living, owning and developing properties on the Gold Coast, Matt has detailed knowledge of the City of Gold Coast City Plan and end-to-end experience with the local building and development process.
When he’s not attending open homes and auctions for fun, Matt’s a former tennis pro and still swings a racquet several times a week at Pizzey Park in Miami, loves a round of golf, is an aspiring surfer, and a long-suffering Newcastle Knights fan.
Kathryn (Kath) is a professional marketer with nearly 25 years’ experience in marketing and brand building. This includes experience working for a range of large organisations in the infrastructure sector including AECOM, Urbis, UQ, Aurecon, GHD, Port of Brisbane, and Gold Coast Open House.
Kath brings valuable insights from the Burleigh Beach Retreat and Kaari on Kiers, Miami, to Hemko clients looking to find a property to renovate or develop. Kath can also assist buyers connect to an extensive network of trusted suppliers in the Gold Coast region.
When she’s not working on Hemko, Kathryn dedicates her time to volunteering in the local community through her involvement in the Rotary Club of Burleigh Heads and as Chair of the District 9640 Rotary Youth Exchange program, helping students from Goondiwindi to Grafton and throughout the Gold Coast access the life changing experience that is youth exchange. Her commitment to this volunteer work is inspired by her own experience as an exchange student in South Africa.
